4 expert tips to achieve incredible hair by Sumeet Suryodhan | Lifestyle blog | Sense Paradise

“It doesn’t matter if your life is perfect as long as your hair color is.”
  – Stacy Snapp Killian
Hey everyone this is Sumeet Suryodhan, back with a new Haircare tips for winter season.
4 expert tips to achieve incredible hair (no matter what your texture)
Make every day a great hair day by following these expert tips by Sumeet Suryodhan on Sense Paradise Blog.

No matter the texture, color or style, pretty much everyone wants hair that looks like it has been preened, primped and perfected by a salon professional on a daily basis, right?
But if your hectic schedule won’t allow a bi-weekly blow-dry and you’d prefer an extra twenty minutes in bed each morning over waiting for your deep conditioner to work its magic or grappling with the tongs, read on, because we’ve spoken to some of the experts in the business to pin down the four key hair rules to live by for healthier, happier and more manageable tresses.
Bye, bad hair days.

1) Rethink the way you wash your hair.
Mintel reports that 33% of men and women who have changed their washing habits in the last 12 months cite worrying about damage as the top reason, so how often should you be shampooing?
Well, industry experts argue that less is more.
“Over-washing can be damaging for your hair, especially if it is bleached, colored, has been chemically treated or is naturally very dry or porous,” “When you wash your hair every day it strips away the natural oils and proteins that you need to keep your hair and scalp healthy, so try to limit hair washing to three times a week if you can.”
But it does depend on your hair type.

Sumeet Suryodhan
The best shampoo for thick, coarse, curly hair
“The curlier your hair is, the longer you can go between washes,” If you have thick, coarse, curly hair, pick a shampoo that hydrates as it cleanses, like
L'Oréal Paris EverStrong or L'Oreal Paris Xtenso It’s also sulfate free, so won’t strip your color.

The best shampoo for fine hair
“The finer and straighter your hair is, the faster the oil wicks down,” “so that can make it oilier faster. If you have super straight hair, you may not be able to go more than two days without washing.” If you have fine, straight hair, pick a gentle shampoo like StBotanica Biotin & Collagen Volumizing Hair Shampoo which is super-kind on strands.

The best shampoo for colored hair
If you color your hair regularly then it’s best to avoid washing your hair every day to keep your color from fading and your strands from becoming parched. The same applied for just-dyed lengths.
“Leave your hair for at least 72 hours after a color appointment before washing it again,” “It can take up to three days for the hair cuticle to fully close, trapping in the color molecules. If you wash your hair before the cuticle has closed, you risk disrupting the freshly applied color and your gorgeous new hue is likely to fade.” When you do eventually wash your hair, avoid shampoos that contain sulphates and silicones. sulphates can strip the color, while silicones leave behind residue that can leave your new color looking dull. Stylist recommends L'Oreal Paris Color Protect Shampoo Which cleanses from root to tip without stripping your strands of color and L'Oreal Serie Expert A-Ox Vitamino Color Shampoo to eradicate build up and nourish porous lengths.

Remember, dry shampoo is your friend.
“If you’re prone to greasy hair, then use a little dry shampoo in between washes to soak up excess oil,”. “But try and avoid becoming too reliant on dry shampoo as it can cause build-up on the scalp and clog hair follicles, which can impede hair growth. If you really struggle to avoid frequent washing then remember that certain styles work better – and look better – on hair that isn’t freshly washed. Braids, bedhead buns and twisted topknots are all great looks for those in-between wash days.”

2) Always use Hair protection.
Hair can be damaged by both UV and heated tools, like straighter, tongs and even your trusty hairdryer, so it’s important to give your hair as much protection as possible.
“When you dry your hair at home always use a heat protector,” says hairstylist.
L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Ultra Riche Nourishing Hair Mask to condition from the inside out and shield against damage from straighteners and color-zapping rays.
And when drying, be sure not to hold the hair dryer too close to your lengths, to prevent split, fluffy ends. “As a test, blow the hairdryer onto your hand and see how fast you pull away when holding it close to your skin.”

3) Become a blow-dry pro.
A good blow-dry should last at least a couple of days depending on your hair type, and there are several products that will help prolong the life of your style. You can also bypass hot tools by multi-tasking your hair style, as celebrity Hairstylist explains: “Styling doesn’t always have to involve a hot tool. If you give yourself a fierce blowout on Monday, rock it out on Tuesday and on Wednesday do a fab high ponytail. Making your style last a few days will really help prevent damage.”
The perfect at-home blow-out is not as tricky as it sounds and if you invest in a few good tools it’ll make it even easier.
“Start by flipping your head upside down, and shake your hair around while you blow-dry,” says hair care expert. “The more you move the more volume you’ll get. Once it’s about 80 percent dry, flip back up and blow-dry hair in sections to smooth, focusing on polished ends.
The last three inches are key: Move your brush and dryer right down to the very end of the strands and take your time. It will make all the difference. Most people come at their heads from the side, which makes hair frizzy and sticky by pushing it all over the place.”
4) Condition the right way.
Good conditioner is also crucial when it comes to any hair type but particularly thick, curly tresses.
“For curly, highly textured hair, always deep condition,” says celebrity hair stylist. “No two minute conditioners here. Deep conditioning involves using a conditioner that will add moisture and strength (protein) back to hair. You should use heat by either applying conditioner to hair while taking a shower and let it sit while showering or by covering the hair with a plastic cap and applying heat from an outside like a hair dryer.
“I believe it’s important to use leave-in conditioners and also not to shampoo so often. Rinse it if you want to but don’t necessarily shampoo it.”
To make sure your hair really absorbs the conditioner, towel-dry hair after shampooing. Excess water will mean the conditioner won’t be able to penetrate the hair shaft and deliver the necessary moisture to keep hair looking healthy and shiny. If you’re short on time, at least squeeze out excess water.

Bannerghatta Biological Park & Zoo | Bengaluru | Sumeet Suryodhan | Travel Vlog

Hey., evryone hows you all doing this is sumeet suryodhan back with a new travel blog to make your winter bloom. n
ow monsoon has taken a leave, winter is around and it is the best time to visit the tourist place around the Bangalore. As winter begins, many tourists booked their calendar for treks and tours nearby Pune & Mumbai and outer region of Maharashtra too. I Sumeet Suryodhan had also started some trekking and Tour activity this winter. On last Monday evening, we (I & My Cousin’s) decided to go for a tour on Bannerghatta Biological Zoo on Tuesday. This time we decided to complete the tour with the help of self-owned transport.

About Bannerghatta Biological Park and Zoo:

Bannerghatta National Park is a popular tourist destination and around 22km from Bengaluru. In 2002 portion of the park become Bannerghatta Biological Park. Bannerghatta National Park includes a Butterfly Park, a Safari Park, a Zoo, a Snake House, and a Pet Corner.

Bannerghatta National Park is a 104 square kilometer zoological park located around 30 minutes South of Bangalore. To get there, take the Nice Road from Hosur (Rs 30 toll) and Exit at Bannerghatta Road (it is the next exit and it comes at around the 9KM mark) and drive around 20 minutes on that road to get to the entrance. There is also excellent public transportation to the place (BMTC buses 365, 366, 368, and Big-10). The park is open 9AM to 5PM and closed Tuesdays. The main activities available at the park are the safari, the zoo, and the butterfly park.

The zoo is also very well organized and covers an area of 12 hectares at the moment, although there are expansion plans for another 28 hectares. It hosts over 1400 animals belonging to over 70 species. The complex also has a museum, auditorium, and an animal hospital (no access for visitors) inside the premises. Prominent animals on display include cayman crocodiles, panthers, hog deer, a good variety of exotic birds, etc. They also occasionally have feeding time, demonstrations, and such - we got to pet a baby elephant! Also, the albino peacock was a first for us.
White Tiger
Not everything was perfect at the park when we visited: Parking was not that well organized, ticketing areas were chaotic, restroom facility was well below par, and there were no restaurant options to speak of (Hotel Vanashree Mayura is next to the entrance but did not look appealing).
How to Reach Bannerghatta National Park:

Bannerghatta National Park is well connected by public transportation; BMTC buses (AC and NON-AC) are available with good frequency from Bangalore.

Visiting hour
 Zoo: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Grand Safari: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Butterfly Park: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

- Photography & Videography is allowed with additional charges.
- Grand Safari and Butterfly Entry fee apart from Zoo Entry fee.
- Boating is also available with additional charges.
- You can also choose to visit by rental vehicle or private vehicle (Parking space is available).

If you are visiting there be there by 10:00 AM
Me And My Cousins
Bannerghatta Butterfly Park

After completing the safari trip we visited the Zoo inside Bannerghatta National Park. The zoo was crowded. Inside the zoo there were several battery operated vehicles which one could hire for round trip of the zoo. We walked around the zoo and were excited to see different animals, species etc. The main attraction was however the Butterfly Park. Flying colors in the true sense!!

Other Attractions at Bannerghatta National Park and Zoo

Wildlife film show, Museum, 3D show, boating etc.
All in all Bannerghatta National Park is an amazing place with all facilities right from parking to hotels, resorts, restaurants and restrooms. All these are within the park itself.
All this made my journey a memorable one. Thanks to Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation.

Monsoon Trek To Lohagad Fort - Friendship Day Special | Sumeet Suryodhan | Travel Blogs

“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.
 – Ibn Battuta

Now as the summer has taken a leave, monsoon is around and it is the best time to visit the trek around the Maharashtra. As monsoon begins, many trekkers booked their calendar for treks nearby Pune and Mumbai. I’m also interested to start some trekking activity this monsoon. On late Friday evening, we (I & My Group) decided to go for a trek on Sunday (To Celebrate Friendship Day). This time we decided to complete the trek with the help of public transport.

Instagram @sumeetsuryodhan
 About Lohagad fort and trek:

Fort is situated 52km from Pune in western India. It is at an elevation of 3,450 feet (1,052 m).Lohagad village is the base village for the fort. Now Lohagadwadi village is easily accessible by road. Trekker usually starts there trek from Malavali railway station. It is just 9km away from the station.

Lohagad has a long history with several dynasties occupying it at different periods of time. Some historical records say, Satavahanas, Chalukyas is the first one to reach this place. Shivaji Maharaj captured this fort in 1648, but he was forced to surrender it to the Mughals in 1665 by the Treaty of Purandar. Shivaji Maharaj recaptured it in 1670 and used it for keeping his treasury. This fort was used to keep the loot from Surat. Later in Peshwa time, Nana Phadanwis used this fort for living for some time.

Instagram @sumeetsuryodhan
There are many places to see on the fort. The first entrance door is known as Ganesh darwaja (Lord Ganesh entrance gate). Other entrance gates in the sequence are Narayan darwaja, Hanuman Darwaja and last entrance gate is known as Maha-Darwaja. The highlight of the fort is Vinchukata (Scorpion's tail) which reminds us of 'SanjeevniMachi 'of Rajgad. It is 1500m long & 30m wide part of the mountain, separated from the main part. Viewing from the fort this portion looks like scorpion’s sting and hence it is called 'Vinchu Kata'. This 'Vinchu Kata' was used for keeping a watch on the nearby area.
There are 2 ways to start trek to Lohagad fort, one is from Malavali station. After crossing the Express-Highway & reaching Bhaje village we get a straight route to Lohagad. After walking for 1.5 to 2 hours & turning to the right from `Goumukh Khind` we will reach to Lohagad. Turning to left we reach Visapur fort.

Instagram @sumeetsuryodhan

04th August 2019: Trek to Lohagad (1.25 hr. of local train + 2-2.5 hr. total climb):
On a very short notice, we decided and planned to do the Lohagad trek on
Saturday. We woke up early morning and we had booked bus as we all were around 25 to 29 friends. Our bus was from borivali (National Park) starting point, we had a cup of tea and travel toward the fort started and we took around 4hrs to reach at the base village of lohagad fort, without wasting any time, we started our first trek patch. After the 1.5-2km walk we reached Bhaje village. We had some breakfast and then our trek began.
The weather was perfectly set for trekking conditions. Sun was busy in hide and seeks game with rainy clouds. After crossing Bhaje village, there are 2 routes, one leads to Bhaje caves and other is to Lohagad fort. There was a route from Bhaje caves to Lohagad but I was not aware so I took the winding path for our trek. We crossed 2-3 waterfalls in route. After crossing 2 bridges (small bridge to bypass waterfall), there is a small route on the left side which is shortcut with sudden height gain. We took that path. It goes through dens small forest. We had to take stop once to rejuvenate ourselves. After walking for some time we reached `Goumukh Khind`.
Instagram @sumeetsuryodhan
Tar road is newly constructed for last 20-30% patch. From Goumukh Khind, we took a right turn for Lohagad fort. By taking a left turn, you can go to Visapur fort which is very close to the Lohagad fort. After few km walk, we reached fort’s base village named Lohagadwadi. Rain welcomed us when we reached base village. From this point, stone steps are laid till the top. Climb to the top of the fort should take around 45 mins. During the rainy season, water flows on the steps making them a bit slippery. It was raining heavily so we didn't get a chance to click any photo. Fort was surrounded by clouds so we were not able to see anything. Climbing on stone steps was quite an easy task and we reached the top soon. We were walking in clouds and unable to see any natural beauty around the fort. Once you entered by last Darwaja (entrance gate), you can see an old Darga on left.

Instagram @sumeetsuryodhan
After few min walk, we reach the starting point of Vinchu kata. As I mentioned earlier, it is a 1500m long & 30m wide part of the mountain with a bastion on the end, separated from the main part. We waited till cloud got away and gave us a beautiful view of Vinchu kata point. Soon rain stopped and the sun came out to show us the way. There are 2 ways to go to Vinchu kata. One is by crossing difficult rock patch and other is a very narrow route (with exposed view on the left side). Due to the monsoon, we selected narrow route which was much safer than the rock patch. Better not to try rock patch if it’s raining or the weather is cloudy. After the narrow route patch, there is a simple walk to reach bastion. When we reached bastion on Vinchu kata, the weather was cleared and we enjoyed the beautiful view. We took some rest and after taking some photos, we started with our return journey.

Instagram @sumeetsuryodhan
It was 2 in clock and now many trekkers were approaching towards Vinchu kata. We were lucky as we covered all main places within time. By the time we left Vinchu kata, rain shower begins heavily. It was like god paused rain shower for us so we can see the view from Vinchu kata. Now only the place was left was Shiv temple from the fort. We crossed the small lake and reached small temple of Lord Shiva. There are few small lakes nearby temple area. After our fort sight seen, we left the fort and reached the base village.

We started descending at 4.30 pm. While descending the fort, we saw strong massive fortification. Took some photographs and then reached the base village. We were too hungry and had chicken curry, Rice & Chapati in a local home at the base village, Lohagadwadi. Food was average but as we were hungry, we found delicious.

The immunity level of the body becomes low during monsoon. There are several infections taking place in the body which lead to number of diseases related to different systems.  There can be stomach problems like indigestion, dysentery, and typhoid or there can be respiratory problems like common cold, cough and asthma and also skin problems like eczema, rashes, prickly heat boils and pimples.

The season tends to infect the air, atmosphere, surroundings food and drinks that are the basic necessities for a person to live.  Skin and hair also cannot be left behind from the harsh treatment of the moist humid rainy weather.

What are the tips to to maintain skin moisture & Health in Monsoon ?
5 Proven Sense Paradise Tips to maintain skin health and moisture by Sumeet Suryodhan.

Do you feel itchy; do boils, redness and burning sensation occur during monsoon? Be careful and read this!  Cleansing:  Is essential. It removes the grime from your skin. Use micellar water to remove makeup.
For cleansing, liquid face washes and foams score over soaps.

Toning: Do it after cleansing. During the rainy season, airborne and waterborne microbes are let loose. So a good anti-bacterial toner will go a long way to prevent skin infections and eruptions. Use a cotton bud and just dab the product on the skin. But, if your skin is dry avoid using it or use a mild toner. Toners are a good option for oily and acne prone skin.

Moisturizer :  During monsoon, despite the humidity in the air, our skin can be completely dehydrated. The result is a dull and lifeless skin which has no sheen. Moisturizing the skin daily during night is a must. People who spend a lot of time in an air-conditioned environment need to moisturize more frequently as it makes the skin feel itchy. Use a non-water based moisturizer, if you happen to get wet often. Otherwise, a water- based moisturizer will do.

Sunscreen : Don’t step out without sunscreen protection since, our skin needs protection from UVA and UVB rays. Apply 30 SPF sunscreen 20 minutes before you venture out in the sun. and re-apply it after every 3-4 hours. Use a water-proof makeup.

Keep dry: Try to keep the body folds dry especially and use anti-fungal cream and a dusting powder. Avoid wearing wet clothes. When you are out, keep some tissues/absorbent towel with you to wipe the excess rain water.

Maintenance: Make sure your skin is radiant, blemish and acne free. In case of any breakouts or skin rashes, visit your dermatologist for expert advice.

12 best tips to keep skin moisturize in winter by sense paradise|lifestyleblog

Good health and Good Sense are two of life's greatest blessings.
            - Publilius Syrus

Hello everyone, how is your winter season going on... I hope so you liked my previous post related to removing of dark circles., if you haven't read, check it now "11 Proven tips by Sense Paradise to Remove dark Circle Overnight|Sense Paradise|Lifestyleblog."

Today i will discuss something interesting which is required for every male & female.
Today's article is specially related to how to keep moisturizing skin in winter.
Since, I started my Suggestion Queries Series; I received many emails and messages .
(Thank you so much for all the trust and faith in me and Sense Paradise I will definitely get back to you all as soon as I can).
In most of these emails, people are looking for natural ways to keep skin moisturize in winter. If you are one of them, then this is the post for you, before that thank you for the likes & support for the last articles you all made. i hope you liked it and it is helping you all to get rid from Dark Circles.

In the winter months, however, when activity decreases and leisure time moves indoors, it isn’t as easy to maintain healthy skin. Winter weather is not fun for skin. Cold weather and low humidity levels result in dry air, which then steals moisture away from the skin every second of every day. Without immediate care, dry skin can lead to cracking and bleeding, and harsh winter wind makes the problem worse. Indoor heat further robs the air of moisture, as do hot showers or baths and harsh cleansers.
Additional moisture helps, but you need to do more to actually counteract these effects and keep skin looking youthful and smooth. To reduce chapping, redness, itching, and keep skin more healthy and comfortable this season, try these tips.

1. Wash face in Lukewarm Water.
Hot showers and baths always feel good in the winter, but when you can, particularly when just washing your face or hands; choose lukewarm water to avoid stripping as many oils washes away from the skin.

2. Moisturizer your skin in winter.
You may have a moisturizer that works just fine in the spring and summer, but as weather conditions change, so too, should your skin care routine. Find an “ointment” moisturizer that’s oil-based, rather than water based, as the oil will create a protective layer on the skin that retains more moisture than a cream or lotion.

It is better to choose your oils with care because not all oils are appropriate for the face. Instead, look for oils like avocado oil, mineral oil, primrose oil, or almond oil.
You can also look for lotions containing “humectants,” a class of substances that attract moisture to your skin.

3. Choose Moisturizer Carefully.

Some over-the-counter moisturizers have petroleum-based ingredients that can actually further dry your skin in the winter months. Be sure to choose a smart formula that has natural, nourishing ingredients. Go for an oil-based rather than a water-based solution, as it’s more likely to help your skin retain moisture in the winter. Try Vaseline body lotion or  natural moisturizing oils, as they’re made with natural, hydrating ingredients like lavender, chamomile, jojoba, and more, which help soothe dry, itchy skin.
4. Moisturize Immediately Afterwards.
Your skin not only needs more moisture, but moisture right after you wash. Applying moisture to damp skin helps seal that dampness into the skin. Keep a bottle near the bathtub, shower stall, and at every sink and use liberally every time you wash.

5. Drink plenty of water.

We tend to drink less water in the winter because we turn to hot drinks like cocoa and tea, but don’t forget that your skin needs hydration from the inside, out. A little warm water with lemon can be very refreshing and hydrating at the same time.
6. Overnight Moisturize.Dryer areas like hands, feet, elbows, and knees have thin skin and tend to lose moisture faster than other areas on the body. Consider slathering on a deep moisturizing lotion by Vaseline at night, then wear cotton gloves and socks to seal in the moisture until morning.
7. Protect your skin.
Get used to wearing gloves and scarves to protect skin from cold winds, rain, and snow. Also, don’t forget the sunscreen. Winter sun can be just as damaging as summer sun.
8. Exfoliate.
We often forget to help the skin slough off dead cells in the winter, particularly on our hands. Yet moisture can’t get in if the dead cells are too plentiful. Find an exfoliating mask and use it on your face and your hands, as well as gently on your lips, then follow immediately with moisture to truly see a smoother difference. Exfoliating body washes are also helpful in the winter months.

9. Avoid Toxins, Specifically Allergens and Irritants.
Particularly if you have eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis, you have to avoid allergens and irritants that may trigger a flare up. Winter skin is more fragile, so avoid irritating fabrics (like wool) and chemical-laden detergents, and use mild cleansers and moisturizers designed for sensitive skin. In addition, glutathione is considered the “master anti-oxidant” and helps your body detox.

10. Use honey for dry & rough skin in winter

To soften stubborn dry patches on rough elbows and knees, opt for a rich, hydrating scrub. “I use a simple mix of honey and sugar,” says Ford makeup artist Lisa Trunda. Studies show that humectants honey reduces inflammation and sugar increases circulation in the skin, says Miami dermatologist Jeremy Green, MD.
“This can be especially helpful in winter when blood flow is typically diverted from the skin to keep your core warm.”

11. Hydrate From the Inside Out.

Eating foods high in water content can help hydrate your skin from the inside out. Try watermelon, cantaloupe, apples, oranges, kiwi, and watery veggies like celery, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and carrots. Make sure you’re getting enough vitamin C and zinc to support the healthy production of collagen and elastin. Also consider Be Well’s omega-3 supplement, or consume more fatty fish and flaxseed to give your skin the building blocks it needs to appear supple and smooth.

12. Use DIY Masks.

Homemade hydrating masks can provide needed moisture in the winter months. Use natural moisturizing ingredients like honey, avocado, yogurt, olive and jojoba oils, almond oil, bananas, and aloe. Mix what you like together to create a cream or paste, and leave on skin for 10-30 minutes for lasting hydration.
